SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes offers 2-3 sessions of S4EA Camps throughout the year. Campers spend 2 nights in cabins and eat camp meals under the guidance of camp counselors/chaperones. Persons with developmental disabilities, families, friends, volunteers, coaches, and supporters are all welcome to join in the fun with S4EA at the S4EA Camps.

Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, S4EA cancelled all SPORTS Camps in 2020 and also cancelled the 2021/2022/2023 Spring Surf Camps & 2021/2022/2023 Summer SPORTS Camps in Idyllwild. S4EA successfully ran the 2021, 2022 & 2023 Fall SPORTS Camps at Green Oak Ranch in Vista, and the 2023 & 2024 SPORTS Camps at Camp Marston in Julian. For safety reasons, SPORTS Camps are now run a little differently.

2024 Spring SPORTS Camp at Camp Marston in Julian offers a general program of camp & sports activities

Campers spend 2 nights in new group cabins with bathrooms under the guidance of chaperones/camp counselors. Because Camp Marston is hilly, a camper using a wheelchair may be limited to certain activities (cabins & dining hall are accessible as well as many, but not all activities).
For safety reasons, SPORTS Camp will be run a little differently. S4EA will take temperatures upon arrival at camp. Activities will be spread out more and held outdoor. Camp meals will be provided from Friday dinner through a Sunday lunch snack. Transportation will not be available. Campers must be brought directly to Camp Marston in Julian which is approximately a 1-hour drive from San Diego.

S4EA has received Vendor Approval from SD Regional Center for SPORTS Camp (PQ8659). Regional Center can pay the whole $300. Please contact your Regional Center worker to apply & get approval for Campership.

An Early Bird Special of $280 ($95 non-refundable advance deposit will lock in the lower rate) if turn in Camp Registration Form & Fee by April 3.

A Family Rate Special is available (family provides 1 chaperone free - $260/camper for 2 family members, $250/camper for 3 or more members).

A Partial Scholarship is available.
